Insider: the next instalment of the Gears of War shooter will be the first game in the series with a fully open world

Insider Shpeshal_Nick shared interesting information about the new part of the shooter Gears of War.

Shpeshal_Nick revealed on the XboxEra podcast that The Coalition studio and Microsoft are planning to make Gears 6 the first game in the series with a fully open world.

The first steps to realise this concept were taken in Gears 5 - the 2019 shooter featured some larger semi-open locations.

Shpeshal_Nick reported that Microsoft is asking developers to give players the freedom to move and choose actions, because, according to the corporation, such games are most popular.

It should be noted that the official announcement of Gears 6 has not yet sounded and the development of the game is known only by insider information, but no one doubts that the popular series will continue.
