Rumour: Nintendo Switch 2 will have 12 GB of RAM and support Nvidia DLSS
According to reports from Eurogamer and VGC, Nintendo has already demonstrated its upcoming next-generation consoles to partner developers behind closed doors during Gamescom. Therefore, it is not surprising that recently, the approximate system parameters of the console appeared on the Internet, shared by Felipe Lima, editor-in-chief of Universo Nintendo.
Here's What We Know
According to him, the console will have as much as 12 GB of RAM. For comparison, the console's "home" competitors - PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X - have 16 GB each. Lima also said that during the demonstration of Matrix Awakens at Gamescom, Nintendo used DLSS 3.1 technology, not DLSS 3.5. In addition, he claims that the new console will support ray tracing.
From past leaks, we also know that the Switch will have an 8-inch display and 512 GB of internal storage, as well as cartridge support.
Whether or not to believe these leaks is a personal matter, but if they are accurate, then Steam Deck and Asus Rog Ally will have a powerful competitor.
