One of the developers of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has confirmed that Gearbox is working on Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2
Perhaps few people doubt that a new instalment of the popular Borderlands series is in development.
Indirect confirmations of it periodically pop up in the net, but now there is information from former technical director of Lost Boys Interactive studio, which helped Gearbox in working on Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Here's What We Know
On his Linkedin page, "Randel R", who left the studio back in 2022, revealed that he managed to work on Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2.
Both games, according to his information, were created on the Unreal Engine 4 engine.
Since it's been about a year and a half since his dismissal, the developers may have switched the games to Unreal Engine 5, but undoubtedly the work on both games has not stopped, as both Borderlands and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands are very popular and bring the developers a stable profit.
The release of Borderlands 3 took place in 2019, so there is a high probability that in 2024 the official announcement of the new part of the series will be heard.
