Insider: Respawn Studios is working on an ambitious game about a Mandalorian from the Star Wars universe

Sources of Insider Gaming portal reported that Respawn Entertainment studio has recently started development of a first-person view game Star Wars Mandalorian (the name is tentative).

The first to report about such a game was Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat in 2022, but at that time he did not have any specific data, except that the game was being developed by Respawn's creative director Mohammad Alavi, who has already left the company.

According to information obtained by Henderson, Star Wars Mandalorian is a stylish and dynamic game in which users will take the role of one of the Mandalorian bounty hunters and search for criminals on behalf of the Galactic Empire.

At the player's disposal will be a jetpack and other gadgets that will make the gameplay exciting, the project is built in such a way as to encourage active actions, for example, the hero's health will be restored after several successful kills of enemies.

The game will not have an open world, it consists of separate locations. According to Henderson, the development of Star Wars Mandalorian will take another 1-2 years.
