Immersive Simulation Festival: Arkane sale on Steam continues until November 21, where most of the studio's games have big discounts
Arkane is best known for its immersive games that allow you to immerse yourself in a fictional world and play through it the way you want. Most gamers have heard of at least one Arkane franchise - Dishonored. However, the studio has other interesting projects, and until 21 November, there is a promotion on Steam where most Arkane games receive a 90% discount.
Here's What We Know
We recommend paying attention to the Arkane 20th Anniversary Bundle. It currently costs $21 (instead of $125). The bundle includes the following games: Prey, Dishonored Definitive Edition, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Arx Fatalis, and Dark Messiah of Might & Magic.
If you are interested in only one of the games, each of them, except for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, costs from $3 to $5.
And while there is no point in talking about Dishonored, Prey was a less popular Arkane game. Prey is a creepy first-person adventure. The game takes place on the Talos-1 space station that was captured by aliens. The station itself is made in the style of the 1960s and is a huge maze with dozens of locations. It is up to the player to find a way to get into a particular place. Crawl through a pipe, get to a hatch in the wall, or find a card that opens a door. A wide arsenal will help you fight the aliens: a pistol, a shotgun, a crossbow, a spanner, a gun that shoots glue and thus slows down the enemies, and various grenades. The game also has modifiers that will improve your performance and unlock new abilities.
The shooter Deathloop also received a discount. In it, the main character is trapped in a mysterious time loop on the island of Blackreef. The game repeats the same day forever. The only chance for the character to escape is to complete the cycle by killing eight key targets before the day ends. If players fail to complete the task, they will have to live the day from the beginning. The game is currently priced at $12 on Steam.
