$2 billion a year - the most profitable mobile game of 2023 has been revealed

As part of summarising the results of 2023, a lot was said about console and PC games, but the mobile segment of the game industry was left without much attention.

The analytical agency Data.ai analysed the profitability of mobile games and determined which project brings the most profit.

Here's What We Know

For many years, the leaders in terms of profitability were the games of the Candy Crush franchise, but this year they have a strong competitor. The first place in profitability came Turkish puzzle game Royal Match from the studio Dream Games - in 2023 it brought the developers more than two billion dollars! The average number of active players of Royal Match is 55 million people per month, while Candy Crush Saga has 160 million.

The top three were the popular mobile games Monopoly GO: Family Board Game and Coin Master. Candy Crush Saga, on the other hand, was only in fifth place this year.
