All empires in your hands: the mobile version of the cult strategy Age of Empires is announced
There was an interesting and unexpected announcement for fans of historical strategies and especially the Age of Empires series.
World's Edge studio in cooperation with TiMi Studio and with the support of Microsoft announced the development of a full-fledged mobile version of Age of Empires.
Here's What We Know
The developers will bring to Android and iOS all the main elements of Age of Empires: players will be able to build empires, conduct large-scale battles, move freely across a large map, manage real historical characters and compete not only with AI, but also with other players.
TiMi Studio staff said:
We grew up playing Age of Empires on our PCs and believe we can offer mobile gamers a new, but no less immersive experience with Age of Empires Mobile.
Age of Empires turns 27 years old this year! All these years the series remains popular, but unfortunately only among PC and Xbox users. We hope that the free mobile game will expand the audience of the series and become its worthy continuation.
Beta-testing of Age of Empires Mobile will be held soon and everyone can already apply for participation in it.
