Hopoo Games publishes first patch with fixes for side-scroller Risk of Rain Returns
Hopoo Games has recently released update 1.02 for Risk of Rain Returns, the 2013 remaster of the side-scroller. Although the update is not a big one, it brings several important fixes, such as changes to the scene options in Ancientvalley 2, Desolate Forest 3 and 5, and the elimination of "anomalies".
Here's What We Know
In addition, crashes that occurred when connecting "unusual" gamepads or closing the game have been fixed. A backup system independent of Steam Cloud is now available, and skill descriptions now display correctly regardless of the aspect ratio.
If you would like to see the full list of fixes for the game, you can do so in the developers' post on the Steam community.
In future patches, the developers have promised to fix other issues, such as loud sound during restarts in certain scenarios or the Providence challenge, as well as issues with Bandit, Sniper, and Han-D not unlocking in online play.
Where To Play
Risk of Rain Returns is available for Nintendo Switch and PC.
