The next faction in Dune: Spice Wars will be the Imperial House of Corrino
House Corrino are the rulers of the Known Universe for the past ten millennia. And it is also the fifth faction in Dune: Spice Wars.
The Imperial House will appear in the game as part of the next major update.
“Factions on Arrakis have become unruly, leaving King Emperor Shaddam IV with no choice but to march on the desert planet with an army of fearsome sardukars to assert his rule. Although Shaddam IV has great power, he must be careful to maintain important relationships, especially with the Space Guild.”
House Corrino can collect spice taxes from other factions and take bribes from them. But he needs to pay the Space Guild to keep interstellar travel affordable and to maintain the integrity of the empire.
Details will be announced at gamescom - the event will be held from August 23 to 28. Therefore, you should not wait for an update earlier than this period.
