The full list of Gamescom 2022 participants has become known: Microsoft, 2K and others
The upcoming Gamescom 2022 show will be the first major live gaming expo since 2019. Its organizers announced the full list of participants packing their bags for Cologne.
According to the organizers of the holiday, more than 500 companies have registered for Gamescom 2022. Among them are Ubisfot, THQ Nordic, which will bring nine projects with it, as well as Microsoft, which confirmed its presence at the exhibition the day before. They will talk about games that will be released in the next 12 months.
For the first time, Gamescom will be visited by Krafton, HoYoverse and Level Infinite - Tencent's new publishing brand. Some studios will come to the show, but will focus solely on selling fan paraphernalia. For example, Konami and Square Enix will do so.
The following companies were among those who definitely will not appear at the exhibition:
- Sony - there is no need to wait for announcements and news at the opening ceremony either
- Nintendo will attend other events in Germany instead of Gamescom
- Electronic Arts
- Avivision Blizzard
- Take-Two interactive
As a reminder, Gamescom 2022 will take place from August 23 to 28 in a hybrid format - both online and in pavilions.
