An enthusiast recreated the prologue of the first "The Witcher" in VR

Mod developer Patrick Loan recreates the first "Witcher" bit by bit in virtual reality. Not so long ago, he completed another stage - now everyone can play the VR version of the prologue from the original game.

According to Loan, for VR, he reworked the models and textures of each item from the first The Witcher and carefully placed them in their places. In addition, he recreated all the cutscenes and thought about how they should look with the ability to turn the head from side to side, thanks to which the VR version has additional details.

The combat system has been adapted for VR: the sword can be drawn from the scabbard behind the back and thrown at enemies, and the lesson is inflicted with a simple wave of the hands. Another feature of VR is that you can interact with objects around you, although not with all of them. Finally, there are scenes of an intimate nature and several easter eggs from the author.
