The final launch date for Season 1 on MultiVerse has been officially confirmed as August 15
It didn't take too long for the developers of the cartoon fighting game MultiVerse to decide when the first season would begin. On August 12, they announced the exact date of August 15 on their official Twitter account.
Quick Note: Everything we are bringing to you in Season 1 will not drop on the same day. New modes and content will be spread through the life of the Season. We'll continue to share dates on all the fun stuff to come! - MultiVersus (@multiversus) August 12, 2022
In fact, the season was supposed to be released on August 9 along with the game's next character, Morty from the Rick and Morty cartoon, but then it was reported that the release of both was delayed.
In a separate tweet, the developers note that all of the season's content will not appear in one day, but will be distributed gradually. Morty himself will appear one week after the season launch, on August 23. In addition to Morty, the studio has already confirmed that Rick from the same cartoon will also come later in the season.
Despite the imminent start of Season 1, the game is still in open beta testing.
