No, the story add-on for Cyberpunk 2077 will not be announced at gamescom - says a representative of CD Projekt Red

Recently the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account in response to a joke by streamer Flo posted the phrase in German "When is the Cyberpunk expansion?" (Wann Cyberpunk-Expansion?). Given that the tweet appeared a few days before the opening ceremony of the gamescom, which will be held in the German city of Cologne, users have assumed that this way the developers hinted at the announcement of the add-on to their game.

But it seems that the Polish studio is not preparing any announcements at gamescom. This statement was made by CD Projekt Red's Global Marketing Director Radek Grabowski. According to him, some of the company's employees will attend the fair, but "not as participants.

This year's gamescom starts soon and I'm happy to go there. More CDPR folks are coming too, so if you happen to be at Koelnmesse there's a chance we see each other. This time around we're not coming to Cologne to show a game - we wish other studios all the best in their showings.
