Microsoft's head of gaming, Phil Spencer, has published a message in which he confirmed that after signing a deal with Activision Blizzard, the publisher's games will appear in the Game Pass service catalog.
We intend to make Activision Blizzard’s much-loved library of games – including Overwatch, Diablo and Call of Duty – available in Game Pass
He reiterated that Call of Duty and other games from the American developer will not become an Xbox console exclusive and will continue to be released on PlayStation.
Phil Spencer noted that one of the top priorities for Microsoft is to popularize the Xbox Game Pass subscription among users of mobile devices and cloud services.
