The Polish studio's big plans: the head of CD Projekt said that the new part of The Witcher will launch a new series on the famous universe

The head of CD Projekt Adam Kiciński, during the discussion on the preliminary results of the first financial year of 2022, said some interesting news. According to him, the new game of The Witcher franchise, which is being developed by CD Projekt RED studio announced a few months ago, will not be limited to one part, but will give rise to a whole series of games. These are the tasks faced by the developers of the Polish studio.

I confirm that we mean more than one game. The first saga consisted of three parts, and we expect that the second saga will not be limited to one part. But for now, we are pre-producing the first game of the new saga.

Recall that CD Projekt abandoned the engine REDengine and creates a new part of The Witcher on Unreal Engine 5. The game will be released on PC and actual at the time of release consoles.

At the moment, the Polish studio is engaged in several other major projects: a remaster of The Witcher and an add-on for Cyberpunk 2077.
