No panic! GSC Game World studio intends to release S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl in 2023

The release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been postponed several times. The game, without exaggeration, has fallen into production hell.

Now the creators of the shooter release date is called an uncertain "2023," but the other day Microsoft on its platforms began refunding for the pre-order of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. In the notice, Microsoft cites "rescheduling the game to an unconfirmed future date" as an explanation for the refund.

Such wording prompted gamers to think of another postponement of the anticipated shooter, but the community manager of Ukrainian studio GSC Game World Zahar Bocharov said the following:

"The game will be available again for pre-order on Xbox as soon as we announce the exact release date. December 23 is analogous to a stalemate until we're ready to publicly announce a new release date. So far, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming out sometime in 2023."
