The creators of Nioh announced an ambitious game Rise of the Ronin about feudal Japan

At the presentation of the State of Play studio Team Ninja, known as the creator of the Nioh series, announced a project that will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.

The new game will be a samurai role-playing action game Rise of the Ronin, judging by the presented trailer, very similar to Ghost of Tsushima.

This game is about the confrontation of Japanese shogunate with the factions that want to overthrow it. The protagonist of Rise of the Ronin is an ordinary ronin caught in the whirlwind of events.

The developers promise to show the most unsightly sides of that period in the game, so bloody battles, power struggles and miserable population of feudal Japan are waiting for the players.

Rise of the Ronin is an open-world game focused on the close combat. The developers promise exciting story, interesting characters and advanced combat system.

Rise of the Ronin will be released in 2024.
