The information appeared on the resource robertsspaceindustries, at the time of writing the total number of people who have supported the project is 4,098,106. And this despite the fact that the game does not even have an approximate release date, and its development has been going on since 2010 (during which the scope of the project has increased several times). The initial goal of collecting was $2 million. Currently, the game is in alpha testing, and its latest build is Alpha 3.17, where they added such features as rivers on the planets, refueling ships in flight and an updated mining sales system.
