Developers give up: Ubisoft does not believe in the success of Skull and Bones
Yesterday we found out that the multiplayer pirate action Skull and Bones release was postponed once again.
Obviously, this decision was made because of the numerous problems with the game's development. The project, without exaggeration, got into production hell. For a long time there has been an opinion that Skull and Bones will inevitably fail, and, judging by the insiders, the developers are inclined to the same point of view.
Ubisoft is trying to do something to save the game, but according to Axios' Stephen Totilo, the company "doesn't have a lot of faith".
A source recently told me that internal expectations for the game were low. And we've seen how launching a live service game too early hurt Halo Infinite.

So, this is probably good news in terms of game quality. Hopefully a decision the dev team is also into. https://t.co/Iyy5MP58mj
We should remind, that Skull and Bones will be released on March 9, 2023.
