In the beta of the Dragonflight add-on for World of Warcraft control schemes for gamepads were found
After the announcement of the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard gamers suggested that the new owner could release World of Warcraft on Xbox consoles.
Although there has been no official confirmation of this theory, datamainers discovered the gamepad button interaction scheme in the beta files of the Dragonflight add-on. Indirectly, this confirms that Microsoft is indeed planning the release of WoW on consoles.
However, this decision raises doubts about the feasibility of the idea, because on the gamepads it will be difficult to play MMORPG, which requires a lot of quick button presses.
Even if it turns out to be true, World of Warcraft will hardly be released on PlayStation, because it makes no sense for Microsoft to share such a tidbit with its main competitor.
