Halloween with Ash Williams begins on Fortnite

Every year Fortnite hosts a Fortnitemares Halloween event, and this year is no exception. It began yesterday, October 18, and brought new characters, abilities, and modes.

Here's What We Know

A set of new in-game quests will give you some cosmetic rewards. If you want to have Ash Williams or Meeseeks and Queen Summer from the Rick & Morty cartoon series in your collection, you'll have to splurge on them in the in-game store.

There are now altars scattered around the island, which will give players claws that you can use to cut down enemies on the ground and in the air by making a double jump. The second ability you can get is tracking enemies for a short time. And if they're tracking you, you'll hear your heartbeat intensifying as the enemy gets closer.

In addition to the main game modes, the current Halloween offering is a version of Horde Rush, which was already added last year. In it, you will have to stand up to waves of monsters.
