Adventure Riven will get a remake

In honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Riven, the sequel to the adventure game Myst, its developer Cyan announced that they plan to release a remake for the game.

"Riven is one of the most respected games at Cyan," Cyan said in a statement when asked why the developers waited 25 years to make a remake. "We didn't want to approach it too lightly. Cyan is not a big indie studio. We wanted to be sure of our abilities before taking on such a difficult and tedious job - and we want to do it well!"
