Media: Embracer Group has closed the studio it recently acquired, and the remaining Eidos-Montréal team is working on three projects, including a new installment of Deus Ex
Embracer Group recently acquired a number of Square Enix's Western studios, including Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, and several smaller studios.
Just three weeks ago, one of the divisions of Eidos-Montréal, which developed mobile games, was renamed Onoma, and today it became known about its closure.
The new management explained this move by production optimization and changes in strategic plans. They promise to transfer the Onoma staff to other Eidos-Montréal projects, so the game designers will not remain unemployed.
But it's interesting: Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported that Eidos-Montréal stopped developing an unannounced game, which the developers were inspired by the series "Stranger Things". According to Schreyer, the Canadian unit is preparing to develop a new part of the Deus Ex, as well as working on a completely new game and provides some support for Microsoft on the project, associated with the Fable franchise.
Eidos Montreal, which remains intact, canceled the Stranger Things-inspired "kids on bikes" game that was rumored recently. They're now working on:

1) A new IP (recently rescoped)
2) A new Deus Ex (very very early)
3) co-dev partnerships with Xbox including Fable
