In a new video the developers of Diablo IV told about the structure of the open world and its content

On the IGN's YouTube channel a new video in which the developers told about the huge open world of Diablo IV game was released.

In this video Diablo IV Game Director Joe Shely and the series general manager Rod Fergusson said that their team was to create really interesting world where players will always find something to do.

According to them, in Diablo IV, you can completely ignore the main storyline and engage only in side quests. If they wish, players can go through the story quests in any order.

This promise partially correlates with previous Blizzard's statements that Diablo IV will have so much content that the game will not get bored even a few thousand hours after passing the storyline.

An exact Diablo IV release date is still unknown, but unconfirmed information says the game will be released in April 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
