THQ Nordic announced a version of the famous RPG Risen for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

Publisher THQ Nordic has officially announced that soon the fantasy role-playing game Risen from the German studio Piranha Bytes will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

According to the trailer, the release version for the previous generation consoles will be released on January 24, 2023.

For the MS version, there will be a free update that will add gamepad support to the game.

Players should not expect a remake, remaster or even slightly improved graphics. It will be the same game from 2009, only to be ported to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Risen tells the story of a nameless hero who, after a powerful storm, is thrown into a land he does not know, where he will become a participant in events that affect the entire world.
