Unthinkable squirrel suffering! PETA accused the protagonists of God of War: Ragnarok of excessive cruelty to animals
PETA has once again decided to remind about themselves.
Here's What We Know
Previously, they have already made claims against many popular games. So, for example, Far Cry 6, Elden Ring, and once even World of Warcraft were among their "victims". All of them were accused by PETA in different kinds of cruelty to animals.
Of course, this community could not miss the God of War: Ragnarok. It turned out that Kratos kills too many animals on his way and has no remorse. Specifically, PETA believes that the mythical wolf Garm, who lives in the realm of the dead, Helheim, is tormented before Kratos' arrival as well as during the battle with him.
@FiveTacey BOY, it's like Grey Wolf Sif all over again. We're asking @SonySantaMonica to create a "PETA mode" so #GodofWarRagnarok can be played without violence to animals! ???? pic.twitter.com/AQ0x7n8K1s

PETA has demanded that the developers make a separate game mode without animal cruelty.
Developers from Sony Santa Monica have no comment on this yet, but considering that many of the battles with animals in God of War: Ragnarok are an integral part of the story, "PETA mode" seems unlikely.
