The creators of the Yakuza franchise are working on entirely new games, not related to the criminal clans of Japan

The head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Masayoshi Yokoyama gave an interview to Game Informer, which told an interesting news for fans of Japanese games.
According to him, Ryu Ga Gotoku game designers are not only working on projects in the Yakuza universe, which has recently been renamed Like A Dragon, but also on brand new games not related to the flagship series. Yokoyama did not reveal details of the unannounced games, but assured that gamers will not be disappointed.
The Japanese studio's upcoming releases will be a remake of the spin-off Like A Dragon: Ishin and a full-fledged Yakuza sequel - Like A Dragon 2.
