Thanks to the success of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the third quarter of 2022 was a record for CD Projekt

From the financial report of CD Projekt it became known that the third quarter of 2022 was a record for the Polish company.

Revenues for this period amounted to 54.4 million dollars, an increase of 70% compared to the same period in 2021. Net income reached $21.9 million.

The reason for CD Projekt's soaring profits were two factors: the release of update 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077, which led to increased sales of the game, and the release of the animated series Cyberpunk Edgerunners on Netflix, which stirred interest in the game.

Adam Kiciński noted that the animated series exceeded the company's expectations, but there are no plans for a sequel yet, while other media projects in the Cyberpunk franchise are not ruled out.
