Assassin's Creed news: it became known how the development of new games in the franchise is progressing
Insider Tom Henderson, in a new feature on Insider Gaming, has reported on how Ubisoft is progressing with the development of new parts of Assassin's Creed.
Here's What We Know
1. The most relevant news is the approximate release date of the next game in the series, subtitled Mirage. Despite the fact that the official release date of Assassin's Creed Mirage is announced for spring 2023, Henderson's sources say that we should expect the game not earlier than August.
It is mentioned that the developers had difficulties of a technical nature, as the game should come out both on consoles of the last generation, and on modern consoles.
2. The development of Assassin's Creed about feudal Japan with the working title Project Red is also complicated by some difficulties, so its release may be held not in 2024, but in 2025.
As for Project Hexe - a project about Europe during the "witch hunt", then the developers have everything going according to plan. The company is completing the pre-production phase and will soon begin full development. Assassin's Creed Project Hexe will be released in 2026.
