The creators of Life is Strange announced the action movie Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
Among a bunch of games at The Game Awards a new game from Life is Strange Dontnod studio - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was announced. This is a role-playing action game, which is similar in spirit to Vampyr 2018, but with some elements from Life is Strange, such as the possibility of choice.
The trailer showed us a lot of gameplay footage from which we can see, for example, that the game will be from the third person. Antea and Red who are in love with each other, have two protagonists to play as: the former uses "spiritual powers" while the latter uses good old offensive weapons.
These lovers were ghost hunters, which means that they once roamed the world protecting "the living from the threat of ghosts and ghosts that remain". But Anthea was attacked by some curse that turned her into a spirit. Thus, she and Red go on an adventure to try to change her situation.
Currently, the exact release date of the game is not known. We only know that it will happen in 2023 on Steam.
