Kratos will break into the cinema! Amazon has announced a series based on the famous God of War game
Amazon has officially announced a film adaptation of the famous game God of War.
Here's What We Know
Work on the series actually began in March, but only now the first details about it become known.
It will be a story based on the 2018 God of War game.
At the center of the plot there will be Kratos and his son Atreus. They will embark on a dangerous adventure to scatter the ashes of the boy's dead mother on the highest mountain of the Nine Worlds from Scandinavian mythology.

Amazon Studios is working on the series with Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions.
Rafe Judkins (writer of The Wheel of Time) will direct the production, while Oscar nominees Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (Children of Men, Iron Man, The Expanse) will serve as writers and executive producers.
God of War creator Cory Barlog will be involved in the making of the series.
Release date and the cast and crew have not yet been announced.
