It was scary - it's going to get even scarier! Dead Space Remake will feature a unique "Stress Operator," a system that will activate random events in the game
The horror Dead Space is rightfully considered one of the scariest games, but the developers of the remake will make it even scarier.
Here's What We Know
On the Dead Space page the developers from EA Motive studio told in details about the "Stress Operator", which was created by them. This system will introduce the elements of randomness into the game, so Dead Space Remake will scare not only with the invented by the developers episodes, but also with the completely unpredictable moments.
"Stress Operator" provides 1200 variables, thanks to which each player will have a unique experience. The system is able to independently change the lighting on locations, sound accompaniment, the number of necromorphs on board the spaceship and other parameters that affect the overall atmosphere of the game.
Thanks to the "Stress Operator" each playthrough will be unique, and no matter how many times the gamer plunges into the game, he will always see something new and frightening.
The developers of Dead Space remake want to keep the gamers in suspense, but the system is designed in a way, so they have a chance to take a breath.
