A Brazilian fan of Kingdom Come: Deliverance translated into his native language more than 1.8 million words from the game and pushed the studio to localize it officially

The role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance has received a Brazilian localization thanks to an unindifferent fan.

Here's What We Know

Edson Junior was able to translate over 1.8 million words into the Brazilian language, thanks to his efforts. He did it totally free of charge. His work became the basis for the official localization of the game.

Warhorse Studio thanked the enthusiast for his work. The Brazilian Portuguese text translation became available last week, December 15. The game itself appeared in the summer of 2018, and four years later sales have exceeded 5 million copies.

Note that Edson Junior, who works as a translator, has already helped companies with adapting games into Brazilian Portuguese. In particular, Divinity: Original Sin 2 was localized thanks to his efforts.
