Nudity, violence and foul language: Japanese RPG Final Fantasy XVI is rated M (17+) by the ESRB

The ESRB Rating Board has given Final Fantasy XVI an age rating of M (17+).

Here's What We Know

The agency's experts fixed numerous scenes of violence, brutality and mass battles, as well as display of blood, torn bodies, nudity, obscene language and sharp topics, which does not allow them to recommend the Japanese game to persons under the age of 17.

When We Can Expect It

Final Fantasy XVI will be released on June 22, 2023 exclusively on the PlayStation 5, but the game will eventually appear on other platforms as well.
