As it turned out, the original soundtrack of The Simpsons Hit & Run OST is available on Spotify, Apple Music and other services
It seems that fans of the adventure game The Simposns Hit & Run woke up from many years of sleep and suddenly discovered that the full original soundtrack is available on Spotify, Apple Music and other services. For many it was really a surprise to see the soundtracks from the long-forgotten 2003 game on modern music services, but in fact it's even stranger.
Here's What We Know
Although many people learned this news only today, the soundtracks themselves were added to the libraries in early September last year. But there was no publicity either from the author who posted the content or from Disney, which should have promoted the compositions.
The availability of the OSTs on Spotify came to the attention of most today thanks to Twitter user Out of Context 20th Century Fox saying that he noticed it. This led many to think that it had only recently been added, believing that it had simply been blocked from streaming services.
Surprisingly, Disney has released the soundtrack to The Simpsons Hit and Run on Spotify like Go Simpsonic with The Simpsons, Testify and Songs in the Key of Springfield. pic.twitter.com/vZTciqO58L

However, other users of the same Twitter revealed that it was available much earlier.
The entire Hit & Run soundtrack is on Spotify and iTunes

Initially I thought that it was a rando but Disney would NOT let anyone charge a dollar (iTunes) per song, for a soundtrack made for Simpsons
If Disney are paying attention to SHAR this could be something...
Regardless of when it was added, it's likely to garner more attention now and maybe we'll learn more about the mysterious song's release.
