Return to Morrowind: Necrom add-on announced for The Elder Scrolls Online, with a new storyline and many new features

At the Xbox Developer_Direct show, the next major addition for The Elder Scrolls Online was unveiled.

Here's What We Know

The new chapter is called Necrom, and will allow players to return to the territory of Morrowind - the events will take place on the Telvanni Peninsula (Telvanni).

We learned about some of the features of the add-on Necrom:

• Players will have to solve new mysteries;
• There will be a new large-scale locations, including the city of Necrom (Necrom) from the first part of The Elder Scrolls (1994);
• The add-on will feature a new storyline associated with the Prince of Destiny, Hermaeus Mora;
• Player characters will be able to learn a new class of Master of runes (Arcanist);
• Players will be accompanied by two new companions.

The Necrom story campaign will last for 30 hours.

The developers have already pre-ordered the add-on, which is available in two editions: standard and expanded (TES Online Collection: Necrom and TES Online Deluxe Collection: Necrom).

When We Can Expect It

The Elder Scrolls Online Necrom will be released on June 5, 2023 on PC, and June 20 on PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series and Xbox One.
