Insider leaks Ubisoft's plans: two new Far Cry games in development
Tom Henderson has once again given gamers some interesting news.
This time the information came from the walls of Ubisoft.
Here's What We Know
In the Insider Gaming website, Henderson reported that according to his sources, the French company is developing two Far Cry games at a time.
It is alleged that Ubisoft game designers are working on the seventh part under the working title Project Blackbird and a separate multiplayer project Project Maverick.
It is assumed that the location of the online shooter will be in Alaska. It is possible that the single-player game will also be in the same setting.
Recall that back in 2015 Ubisoft conducted a survey among players about the setting for future parts of Far Cry, and even then the list of options was the extreme Alaska.
According to Henderson, Ubisoft Montreal, among others, is working on new projects.
The tentative release date for the new Far Cry is 2025.
