Hint or confession? Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon says he's "thinking a lot about a Mortal Kombat 4 remake"

One of the creators of the Mortal Kombat franchise, Ed Boon, has taken a hint or a fact on his Twitter account.

In response to a fan's posting of the cover art for a hypothetical Mortal Kombat fighting game remake, Ed Boon wrote: "YES! I've definitely considered this over the years."

Mortal Kombat 4 was released in 1997 on arcades and ported to PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and PC in 1998.

This game was the first Mortal Kombat with 3D graphics.
