Insider: Ubisoft is so confident in Assassin's Creed Nexus VR game that they're already thinking of a sequel
The VR game Assassin's Creed Nexus (working title) is only known to gamers in bits and pieces.
Ubisoft has not yet presented the game publicly, but according to insider Tom Henderson, the French developer is so confident in the success of the project that he is already thinking about its sequel.
Here's What We Know
Henderson suggests that Assassin's Creed Nexus will be released after Assassin's Creed Mirage, so not until September 2023. According to unconfirmed information, in Nexus players will be able to control famous characters from the franchise, such as Ezio, Kassandra, Connor and Haytham, but it is impossible to say for sure. As such, it can be assumed that Nexus will feature several historical periods at once.
Insider Gaming's sources tell us that even more iconic characters will appear in a potential Nexus 2.
Tom Henderson claims that Assassin's Creed Nexus was previously only scheduled to be released on Meta Quest devices, but the developer recently terminated an exclusive agreement and may now release the game on other VR headsets as well.
