Cal Questis is armed and dangerous: a video of the five combat modes in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been unveiled

IGN published an informative video about the combat system of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Here's What We Know

In the video the developers from Respawn Entertainment studio revealed that the new Star Wars Jedi protagonist can use five different combat modes.

In combat, it is possible to use a single lightsaber, two lightsabers or a sword with a double "blade". There's also the option to use a sword in combination with a blaster or a heavy handled sword (like Kylo Ren). The latter option greatly slows down Cal Kestis' attacks, but is capable of dealing massive damage to enemies.

Each has advantages and disadvantages, and all options can be applied in specific situations, so players should quickly adapt to the combat conditions.

Directly in battle, it is possible to switch between the two modes, and mode sets can only be changed at checkpoints.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28th for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
