No everything is lost? Ubisoft claims that Skull and Bones has made significant improvements to the game and will soon introduce an improved version
With each new showing of Skull and Bones the public becomes more and more sceptical about the action game, and when Ubisoft announced another - the sixth! - postponement (the game has been in development since at least 2014) - no one was surprised.
However, in a conversation with investors, Ubisoft's CFO Frederick Duguet mentioned that the authors of the project have seriously tweaked it, but the new version has not yet been shown to the public.
Duguet said that the developers were happy with the January's closed testing, which showed an improved version of Skull and Bones to a control group.
It's possible that fresh details about the long-suffering pirate game will be revealed next month.
When We Can Expect It
Most likely, the release date of Skull and Bones is a mystery even for Ubisoft.
The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
