IGN has compiled its own Top 25 zombie games. The Top 3 are: Resident Evil 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and The Last of Us Part II

IGN editors decided to create their own Top 25 best zombie games in the history of the industry.

Here's What We Know

IGN chose the remake of Resident Evil 2 as the best zombie game. The Capcom project was called a "triumph of the survival horror genre". The second place was given to the cult Left 4 Dead 2, and the third - to the best game of 2020, The Last of Us Part II. The first season of The Walking Dead: Season 1, presented by Telltale Games, and the original Dead Space, created by Motive and Visceral Games, round out the top five games of this genre.

It is worth noting that the IGN ranking includes as many as 5 Resident Evil games, which proves the legendary nature of this series. The list also includes The Last of Us Part I, Dying Light, Days Gone, and even Plants vs Zombies.
