Rumour: Activision is planning multiple seasons for Call of Duty in 2023 and is working on an unknown Jupiter project
According to Insider Gaming, Activision suffered a data leak that revealed documents about plans for Call of Duty in 2023. The documents contained a calendar that showed the dates of the seasons, as well as information about the unknown Jupiter project.
Here's What We Know
Initially, the number of seasons and the time when they should take place were revealed. A total of 4 seasons are planned.
- Season 3: 15 March - 15 May
- Season 4: 15 May - 16 June
- Season 5: information unknown
- Season 6: 15 September - 8 November
At the same time, the content that will appear during the year in Call of Duty was revealed.
- Seven main maps, some of which are likely to be remasters of old maps.
- The Ghosts of Saba event for Halloween.
- One small map that will appear in Season 4, which should be similar to Shipment.
- At least 240 more sets (70 per season).
- One "licensed" operator for each season. This may indicate collaboration with other franchises.
- More different tasks that will start in season 3.
The document also contained information about the Jupiter project. There are three cycles of dates for it. Some believe that these may be development periods.
- "Jupiter GL4 (7-28 April)
- "Jupiter Alpha (26 May - 2 June)
- "Jupiter GL5 (9-30 June)

However, it is worth noting that the documents were leaked as early as 4 December and Activison could have changed the dates and plans. Therefore, this information should be taken as a rumour.
