Media: Konami is working on a third Metal Gear Solid remake and reviving the Castlevania franchise
There have been rumours of a remake of a Metal Gear Solid title for a few years now.
Authoritative sources have repeatedly mentioned the revival of the famous stealth action game, but there has been no official confirmation from Konami.
And here is the fresh portion of unconfirmed information: in Video Games Chronicle (VGC) podcast, journalist Andy Robinson said that Konami is really working on the Metal Gear Solid remake.
Here's What We Know
Robinson claims that the Japanese company is working on an update to the third installment of MGS, subtitled Snake Eater.
The project is being developed by Virtuos Studios, as previously speculated. The studio does not have its own games yet, but it has established itself as a responsible contractor. Asian game designers ported such famous games as XCOM 2, BioShock: The Collection and The Outer Worlds, and were involved in the development of Uncharted 4 and Demon's Souls remake.

In addition to Metal Gear Solid, Konami is planning to revive another iconic franchise, Castlevania, but no information on a new game of the vampire saga yet.
It is likely that both games will be presented by Konami at E3 2023, which will be held from 13th to 16th of June in Los Angeles.
