Rare talks a little more about Sea of Thieves Season 9 and reveals release date
Recently, the adventure game Sea of Thieves celebrated its fifth anniversary, in honour of which developer Rare released a teaser of its upcoming documentary about the development of the game Voyage of a Lifetime, as well as told a little more about the content that will arrive in the game with Season 9.
Here's What We Know
The main novelty of the season will probably be the "Luck Chest" item, which will bring a whole bunch of new cosmetics. According to the development team, the ninth season includes changes to the Chests of the Priest, new journeys for the Captains and Pirate Legend, as well as new world events balanced depending on the size of the team.
These events will consist of more than 100 levels of seasonal progression, for which you will receive valuable rewards.
The developers will also make changes based on feedback from the community. For example, Reapers will no longer be able to stumble upon the Devil's Shroud, which made their treasures inaccessible. The loot from these moving ships will now be transferred to a safer place nearby.
"Community feedback has fueled a lot of Season Nine's changes and updates, with improvements coming to harpooning treasure, the introduction of a food radial menu, and seagulls circling the loot from sunken player ships, - Rare said".
Sea of Thieves Season 9 will be released on 16 March.
