Oh, what happened? Popular mobile game Clash of Clans can no longer be launched in Russia

On March 14th, Russian players began to report that the popular mobile game Clash of Clans was no longer available in Russia.

Here's What We Know

When trying to enter the game, a notification appears: "Unable to log in. Your current location does not allow you to log in."

VKontakte communities have already begun to advise using a VPN to circumvent the ban, but at least one player has already had his account blocked for doing so. He received a notification: "Your account has been permanently banned. Reason: phishing attempt".

However, other Supercell games, such as Brawl Stars or Clash Royale, can still be launched in Russia. The studio has not yet commented on why Clash of Clans suddenly became unavailable in the 404 country.
