Female samurai, African shinobi and lots of stealth: the first details of Assassin's Creed Codename Red have been revealed

Insider Tom Henderson has revealed the first details about the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed game, set in feudal Japan.

Here's What We Know

Assassin's Creed Codename Red, which was announced in September 2022, will feature two main heroes.

According to Henderson, they will be a female samurai and an African shinobi.

Also Henderson's sources told us, that the Assassin's Creed Codename Red game will have stealthy gameplay, and will use many elements from the popular stealth games like HITMAN and Splinter Cell.

When We Can Expect It

Ubisoft has not yet announced a release date for Codename Red, but it's probably scheduled for autumn 2024, but according to Henderson, there's a high chance of the game being moved to 2025.
