The developers of the main competitor of The Sims - Life By You have revealed the release date of the game in early access and shared other details
As previously reported, Paradox-Tectonic held an event dedicated to its upcoming project, Life By You. At the event, we were told about the game and its mechanics, as well as shown some footage from it:
Throughout the presentation, the creators placed a special emphasis on modifiability and a constant world. Paradox claims that they will be working closely with the community of people participating in the early access to improve the game, providing testers with tools for creators to modify the game to their heart's content.
They also mentioned their main competitor, The Sims, claiming that the game highlights real-world conditions with a continuous seamless world, rather than a story broken into a bunch of loading screens. They assure that a great deal of emphasis will be placed on the dialogue system, which will be made as realistic as possible, as opposed to The Sims' "cartoonish" approach. This can also be seen in the depth of the game's settings, which promise to be very extensive, but not too much to maintain the realism of the gameplay.
When We Can Expect It
Life By You will be available for early access on PC on 12 September this year.
