The main goal of State of Unreal was to showcase the latest features of the Unreal Engine 5, specifically Metahuman Animator technology that helps create ultra-realistic facial animations.

Ninja Theory showcased the technical advances of the latest toolkit in a short video for their upcoming game Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.

The video shows a close-up of the main character Senua's face, and we have to say, that the technology is impressive - her facial expressions are delivered with the finest nuances.

The release date of Senua'saga: Hellblade II is still unknown, but with such a technical performance the game could be a real hit.
