A detailed gameplay demonstration of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been released.

In the 10-minute video, the Nintendo developers showed off several locations and a number of gameplay mechanics.

Here's What We Know

Overall, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom feels like a logical development of the previous installment, but from the footage shown, the impression is that there are few innovations in the game and gamers can expect the same Zelda as in 2017.

The developers specify that the new part of The Legend of Zelda will have much more opportunities to interact with various items. Thus, the game designers added the option to create boats from a bunch of logs and mechanisms, and in the shown video two kinds of boats appear at once.

When We Can Expect It

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
